Sarang plays for 8Bit

Sarangajyoti Deka competes as Sarang for 8Bit, one of five names on the organization's current BGMI roster. The roster record dates his arrival to 20 October 2025, when 8Bit rebuilt its lineup ahead of the Chennai Global Championship 2025. Announcement coverage of that rebuild placed him alongside Juicy, Skipz and Raiden in the new four. Before this move, his years with Team XSpark included the BGIS 2024 and BMPS 2024 titles, with a finals MVP award at the latter.

8Bit's published trophy record is deep, and all of it predates the current lineup. The wins on the books are the THUG Invitational (14-15 August 2021), Ranbhoomi Season 2 (4-13 July 2023), Fight Night Pro Scrims (18-22 June 2023), Gauntlet Season 2 (6-13 October 2024) and 1M Slayy Zone (22-25 January 2025). Runner-up finishes include the LOCO Diwali Battle grand finals (November 2021), the iNSANE Summer Split (September 2021), APL Invitational Season 2 Round 2, the Novum Overpower Series Season 1 (June 2023), the Villager Esports Pro Invitational 2023 and Titans Rising (October 2024). These are squad records from earlier rosters, never presented here as his personal totals. The rebuilt side opened the BMSD 2026 qualifiers in Group A.

What the public record does not carry is a personal stat line for Sarang in 8Bit colors. No published table ties per-match finish counts or event earnings to his name since the October 2025 move. His individual honors, including the BMPS 2024 finals MVP award, sit with earlier teams and stay there in this record. For 8Bit, the verifiable facts are the roster entry, the join date and the organization's results; everything else about his current stint is unpublished.

Liquipedia's player infobox lists Sarang as a support player and gives his birth date as 7 September 2002. His listed socials run under the handles sarangg_07 on Instagram, Saranggggg7 on X, and TxSarangjod on YouTube.
