Team XO's WD Black Cup S2 title

On 9 December 2021, Team XO won the WD Black Cup Season 2, taking ₹2,50,000 of the ₹5,00,000 prize pool (about $6,616 in the records' figures). TSM finished runners-up on ₹1,00,000, Marcos Gaming were third on ₹50,000, and Orangutan fourth on ₹25,000. The event was organised by Skyesports with WD Black (Western Digital) and AMD as sponsors, played over four days with 20 matches.

The 18 invited teams played five matches per matchday on a rotating Erangel-Miramar-Sanhok-Miramar-Erangel map order. Fierce of Team XO was named MVP on ₹50,000, while TSM collected a ₹25,000 bonus for the most finishes overall. The WD Black Cup was a multi-game property: alongside the BGMI invitational track, it ran open-qualifier tracks for Valorant and League of Legends.

The event was pitched South Asia-wide, covering India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and the Maldives, with an expected viewership above eight million, and the broadcast ran in four languages: Hindi, English, Kannada and Punjabi.
