Team XO won the 2021 LOCO Diwali Battle Grand Finals

Team XO won the LOCO Diwali Battle Grand Finals, played from November 18 to 22, 2021. The victory completed a clean sweep of the event for XO, who had also won the league stage played from November 1 to 17.

Team 8Bit finished second in the Grand Finals, and Team XSpark finished fifth. GodLike Esports' earnings roundup credited the team with 2.9 lakh rupees from the event. The full final order is verified on this page from Liquipedia's published day splits.

The win mattered most for Fierce, the XO support player whose breakout it became. SportsAdda's 2026 retrospective credits the Diwali Battle finals as the result that made Fierce's name, before he helped XO to third at BGIS 2021 and later moved through Genesis Esports and Revenant Esports to Meta Ninza.

The Diwali Battle sat between two bigger LOCO events in XO's 2021, with the War of Glory running in October and the league-and-finals structure repeated here. XO's double win, league stage and Grand Finals, made them the most consistent LOCO-event team of that winter.

Fierce finished as the finals' top fragger with 59 finishes for Team XO and collected the Rs 50,000 Top Fragger prize, ahead of Savitar of Team Forever with 53 finishes for Rs 15,000 and Jonathan of GodLike Esports with 48 finishes for Rs 10,000. Daily Top Fragger prizes of Rs 25,000 each went to Savitar on days one and three, AkshaT of Chemin Esports on day two, Spower of 7Sea Esports on day four and Fierce on day five. Team awards for most finishes went to Team XO overall and, day by day, to Team Forever, TSM, Team XSpark, 7Sea Esports and Team XO.
