iQOO India League 2024 was cancelled due to technical issues
Overview
Sixteen teams assembled at the Noida Indoor Stadium for the iQOO India League 2024, a three-day LAN with a Rs 40 lakh prize pool.
Persistent latency and connectivity problems disrupted the opening day on 22 February. After similar issues on day two, organiser iQOO cancelled the event outright.
No champion was declared and no placements were awarded. Liquipedia lists a Rs 2,50,000 participation share per team from the Rs 40 lakh pool.
Only one match was ever completed before the plug was pulled: an Erangel game on 23 February, won by GodLike Esports ahead of Hydra and Enigma Gaming, with Apollo named the match MVP in Liquipedia's match record. Every later map on the schedule stayed unfinished.
iQOO India League 2024 qualification filled the 16-team field from the wider iQOO circuit. Fourteen places went to the top teams from iQOO Pro Series 2024, Team SouL entered as the partnered team, and GodLike Esports entered as iQOO Pro Series 2023 champions. The planned schedule covered 18 matches over three matchdays before technical problems ended the event on day two.
