OR Esports' best season ended one step from a trophy

OR Esports, the Orange Rock lineup, were the nearly team of the 2022 season. They won the iQOO All Stars Cup in August 2021, finished seventh at BGIS 2021 on 189 points, and then produced the best result in the organisation's history at BMPS Season 1: second place on 250 points, eighty five behind Team SouL, with 110 of those points coming from eliminations. The runners-up prize was thirty five lakh rupees, and it remains the closest OR ever came to a major BGMI title.
The early roster was Vexe, Jelly, Aditya and EvoO. By 2023 the lineup had settled around Jelly and ADMINO with Mac and MAX, and later Robin, ADMINO, PRO and Zap. The results stayed respectable without reaching the same height: fourth at the Skyesports Champions Series 2023 with the most chicken dinners of the finals, third at the Skyesports Championship 5.0 LAN in Bengaluru on 150 points, sixth at the Nodwin Champions Cup, and seventh at the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series 2024 LAN on 156 points.
OR's arc is a reminder of how thin the margins were in that era. At BMPS Season 1 they were the only side within a hundred points of a dominant Team SouL. At the Champions Series a year later they were the best dinner-winners in the lobby and still finished fourth. The organisation kept a competitive BGMI roster into 2024, longer than most of its 2021 contemporaries, without ever converting a final-day lead into a trophy.
Orange Rock was created on 29 August 2019 and owned by Pole To Win International (PTW), with Bharat "Ribbiz" Reddy listed as manager and KFC as a sponsor on Liquipedia. The team disbanded on 16 May 2024. The last lineup recorded for the side was ADMINO, MAX, Robin and Zap, and ADMINO had already left for GodLike in March 2024, weeks before the organisation folded.
