Reckoning Esports' TEC Invitational S1 title

Overview

On 29 August 2021, Reckoning Esports won The Esports Club BGMI Invitational Season 1, taking ₹3,00,000 of the ₹5,00,000 prize pool (about $6,803 in the records' figures). TSM FTX finished runners-up on ₹1,50,000 and Skylightz Gaming third on ₹50,000. The event was organised by The Esports Club.

Day 2 was the decider: Reckoning posted 141 points with 60 finishes to top the day, ahead of TSM FTX on 122 and Skylightz on 114, and closed out the title from there. The Reckoning roster was Abrar, BeardBaba, Maxy, and MrSpray; TSM fielded AquaNox, Blaze, NinjaJOD, and SHADOW; Skylightz had GamlaBoy, Pukar, RonaK, and Saumraj: a snapshot of the early-BGMI elite.

The prize split distributed the full ₹5 lakh across the podium: ₹3,00,000, ₹1,50,000, ₹50,000. TSM's runner-up finish here began a pattern: they finished second in both TEC Invitational seasons back-to-back.

Liquipedia's event page confirms the 20-team invited field, names Maxy of Reckoning Esports as Tournament MVP (a no-cash award), and publishes the full twenty-team final standings.

One point per finish, plus placement points from 15 for first.
