7Sea's Villager GF double
Overview
On 23 September 2021, 7Sea Esports won the Grand Finals of the Villager Esports Pro Invitational 2021, taking ₹40,000 of the ₹1,00,000 prize pool (about $1,355 in esportsearnings' figures). Blind eSports finished runners-up on ₹30,000 and TEAM iNSANE were third on ₹20,000. The event was organised by Villager Esports, running 22–23 September with 18 teams, two days, eight matches.
The double was sealed in the Grand Finals: 7Sea had also won the group stage on 19–21 September, and Sarang of 7Sea was named MVP on ₹10,000. The group stage's runners-up, Element Esports, collapsed to 15th in the Grand Finals. The 7Sea roster was Aladin, Prince, Sarang and SPRAYGOD; Blind fielded EvoO and SpyOp; iNSANE fielded Aadi, Deep, Goblin, Neyo and Stoney. Goblin's individual share of the third-place prize was ₹4,000 per esportsearnings, while Sarang took ₹10,000 in title share plus ₹10,000 as MVP.
The group stage has its own entry on this wiki. A caution for readers: a Gurugamer article about "Villager Esports Pro Invitational Finals" won by MG.Zed refers to a different, earlier PUBG Mobile edition, not this BGMI 2021 event.
