Akshu BGMI Player Profile

Kamal Kumar, known as Akshu, is a former PUBG Mobile professional who played for 8bit as an entry fragger and sniper. In a Sportskeeda interview he described himself as 19 years old and from Baggi in Himachal Pradesh, and explained that he dropped out of school in 11th grade to pursue gaming.

His competitive journey began on a Redmi Note 4 in random classic matches before he was recruited into Shubham Gamers' team KO. His break came when 8bit needed an assaulter and sniper: a friend connected him to the organisation, and that invitation started his professional career.

Akshu played in several 8bit iterations. Sportskeeda's roster reports place him alongside Omega, Akshat, and NeoNyke in one lineup, and alongside Gyrogod, Cloak, Omega, and Akshat in the PMCO Fall Split 2020 squad. His favourite teammate, he said in the interview, was 8bit's IGL Omega, whom he praised for motivation rather than blame.

Sourced facts are his name, age at interview, hometown, role, and the 8bit stints. Tournament placements and any activity after the PUBG Mobile era are not in the sources used and are marked missing.

Akshu's career did not end with the PUBG Mobile ban. Liquipedia's results list him with Team SouL in late 2021, third at the OG Starter Cup and 18th at the LOCO Diwali Battle grand finals, after earlier 8Bit titles at the THUG Invitational and the first APL Invitational and third place at Skyesports Championship 3.0. In 2022 he played for BB, finishing seventh at the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series Season 1, then moved to TWOB until February 2023. Alongside playing, he was an S8UL content creator from October 2020 to July 2025.
