TSM FTX's APL Round 2 title

On 26 August 2021, TSM FTX won Round 2 of the APL Invitational Season 2, taking ₹70,000 of the ₹1,50,000 round prize (about $2,024 in the records' figures) with 120 points, 56 finishes and a single chicken dinner. 8Bit finished runners-up on ₹40,000 with 111 points and 56 finishes, and Team TapTap were third on ₹30,000 with 104 points, 52 finishes and two chicken dinners. The event was organised by APL Esports with Esports Empire, sponsored by Pepsi India and Durgesh Mishra, running 24–26 August with 19 teams.

Round 2 took the top 18 from Round 1 plus one fan-favourite team, and the story was the collapse of the Round 1 winners: IYD x Team Tamilas fell to tenth, and runners-up Enigma faded away too. TSM won on consistency with just one chicken dinner while 8Bit pushed them hard, 111 to 120. APL Esports, the underdog team, finished fourth, punching above their weight against pro orgs; Reckoning were fifth with two chicken dinners and Galaxy Racer sixth.

A discrepancy worth noting honestly: Liquipedia's Jonathan page credits him with the most chicken dinners award, but the Liquipedia event page and Sportskeeda's results report both give the ₹10,000 most-chicken-dinners prize to Team TapTap, who had three to TSM's one. The team award is the one published in the prize table here.

Verified: the TSM FTX win, the full podium, the dates, the format, and the prize split. Round 1 has its own entry on this wiki.

TSM's winning roster was Shadow, AquaNox, Blaze and NinjaJOD, as listed in the TeamCard on the Liquipedia event page. AkshaT of 8Bit topped the fragger chart with 27 finishes, ahead of Jonathan on 22.

Round one winners collapsed to tenth while TSM took the bigger ₹1.5 lakh round on consistency, with a single chicken dinner.
