8Bit won Gauntlet Season 2 2024
Overview
Gauntlet Season 2 ran from 6 to 13 October 2024 with a Rs 10,00,000 prize pool (about $11,885), and 8Bit won it. The Esports Club organised the second BGMI Gauntlet with 32 teams online. 8Bit took Rs 4,00,000 for the title, Team Tamilas finished second for Rs 2,00,000, and Carpe Diem took third for Rs 1,25,000.
Semi-finals ran from 6 to 11 October with 32 teams from the closed qualifiers across four groups, and the grand finals on 12–13 October featured 16 teams over two matchdays. 8Bit's winning roster was Aditya, Mighty, Juicy, and A1mbot. The surprise of the finals was Carpe Diem, the lineup of Pukar, Fierce, GamlaBoy, and MAX, which finished third ahead of established names like Orangutan, Gods Reign, Team XSpark, and Carnival Gaming.
Back-to-back Gauntlet seasons produced different champions, WSB Gaming in August and 8Bit in October, which underlines how open the Indian third-party circuit was in late 2024. No single organisation could hold the series.

The title turned on the second matchday. 8Bit scored 48 points on day one and 67 on day two for 115 in total, while Team Tamilas followed 66 with 48 for 114, a single point short. Carpe Diem climbed to third on 87 (26 and 61), one ahead of Team Fatality on 86. Liquipedia's prize pool table lists 8Bit first for Rs 4,00,000, confirming the champion directly rather than through workbook data.
