Vasista Esports missed the semis cut by three, then Last Chance too

Vasista Esports lost BMSD at the semi-final cut and then lost it again. They were ninth on 118 points from 16 matches in Group B. Eighth, Gladiators Esports, had 121. Those three points are the difference between a direct Grand Finals week and a Last Chance weekend. Group B also held Team Apex Gaming on 152 and Team Outrage on 124, so ninth overall was not last in the group. It was first outside the places that mattered.
Last Chance did not repair it. Vasista were seventh on 83 points from 12 matches, with one chicken dinner. The qualification line was fourth, and fourth was a tie on 90. Seventh was out of range of that tie. At BGIS 2026 they had been ninth as well, on 103 points: 68 finish points, 35 position points, one chicken dinner. Two ninths, in two different KRAFTON events, with only the March one counting as a completed final.
They were on the KRAFTON Last Chance broadcast list, so the elimination is not a case of a team that failed to show up. It is a team that played the stage and finished outside the four. The side disbanded on 19 October 2026, when the BMSD 2026 roster left, so the listed lineup is the final roster rather than a current one. Their BMSD route to BMIC and to the PMGC match is closed.
Vasista's peak came earlier than the BMSD exit suggests. The side won the Skyesports Championship 2024 grand finals on 169 points, then added the Rising Championship Season 1 and Weltify Pro Clash titles in 2025, alongside 13th at BGIS 2024 and 16th at BMSD 2025. Liquipedia dates the founding to 4 January 2023 under owner Sandeep Vasista and marks the team disbanded on 19 October 2026, the day the BMSD 2026 roster left.
