Ruthless Invitational Showdown won by Global Esports in 2022

The Ruthless BGMI Invitational Showdown was organised by Ruthless Esports, with the Grand Finals played over 25 matches from 1 to 5 March 2022. Three stages (prelims, playoffs and finals) fed 16 teams into the title round.

Global Esports won it with 268 points and 105 kills, playing with a new roster. Enigma Gaming finished two points back on 265, the most aggressive side in the lobby with 135 kills.

Team XO, the Sky Grand Slam champions, took third on 243 points with the most chicken dinners. Orange Rock Esports slipped from first to fourth on the final days with 237 points.

Team Forever, led by Owais, finished fifth ahead of Team Soul, who had the second-most chicken dinners and kill points. TSM were seventh and GodLike ninth, while BGIS champions Skylightz ended 15th. TSM's NinjaJod was named MVP with 57 finishes, and the ₹10,00,000 pool paid ₹5,00,000 to the winners, ₹2,50,000 to Enigma, ₹1,25,000 to Team XO, ₹50,000 to Orange Rock and ₹25,000 to Team Forever.

Ruthless BGMI Invitational Showdown prelims ran from 11 to 14 February 2022 with 27 invited teams, and the playoffs from 22 to 27 February then cut that field to the 16 grand finalists.

Global led from day three and held off Enigma's kill-heavy chase across 25 matches.

The two-point winning margin is among the smallest in a major Indian invitational.
