TEC BGMI Invitational Season 4 won by Global Esports in 2022

The Esports Club BGMI Invitational Season 4 was an online tournament played from 6 to 16 June 2022. Sixteen Indian teams competed for a prize pool of $19,203.

Global Esports claimed the TEC Season 4 title on 115 points, scoring 58 in the first week and 57 in the second. Marcos Gaming finished a single point behind on 114, with Chemin Esports third on 109.

The prize money was paid in dollars: $8,961 to Global Esports, $5,120 to Marcos, $2,560 to Chemin and $1,280 to fourth-placed Team XO. TSM's NinjaJod was named the best player of the championship and earned $1,280.

The rest of the top ten featured TSM, Revenant Esports, Team Soul, R Esports, Skylightz Gaming and 8Bit, with Hyderabad Hydras, GodLike, Enigma, Reckoning, ACBC and Orangutan behind them. The win came three months after Global's Ruthless Invitational Showdown title, underlining their status as the invitational team of 2022.

TEC Season 4 overall table rewarded steady scoring across both weeks, with Team XO fourth on 105 points after a 33 point first week and a 72 point second week. TSM finished fifth on 89 points, ahead of Revenant Esports on 85, while Global Esports stayed level across the two weeks with 58 points followed by 57.

Global's two steady weeks beat Marcos's late surge by a single point.

The dollar-denominated pool was unusual for an Indian invitational in 2022.
