ScaryJOD won the BMPS 2026 MVP award with Victores Sumus

ScaryJOD joined Victores Sumus ahead of the 2026 season as the big new signing, filling the gap left by Fury's departure. The November 2025 announcement paired him with the retained core of Owais, Venom and Mafia, and the move was framed as fresh aggression for a side built on veteran calling.

The signing paid off in the BMPS 2026 qualifiers, where ScaryJOD finished as the third-highest fragger of the stage. Victores Sumus ended the qualifiers as the third-best team overall with 203 points and three chicken dinners from 24 matches, topping Group A in Round 3 with 77 points from six matches.

During the Jaipur Grand Finals from June 19 to 21, 2026, ScaryJOD's finals performances carried Victores Sumus to third place on 133 points. He was named the tournament MVP for four lakh rupees and added the Best Clutch award for one lakh, the two biggest individual honours of the event going to one player.

The Victores Sumus move was not the start of his record: Akshansh Lawrence first played for BotArmy Esports, finishing tenth at BGIS 2025 and taking the event's Emerging Star award, and then spent May to November 2025 with Vasista Esports before the Victores Sumus signing.

In August 2026, Lawrence followed the same path as Owais and Mafia out of Victores Sumus, joining Elite Nova Esports on 2 August 2026, and he played BGMS Season 5 with the new side.
