OREsports won the 2022 7Sea Invitational
Overview
OR Esports lifted the 7Sea Invitational, played from March 30 to April 3, 2022. Enigma Gaming finished third and GodLike Esports sixth. The event's Liquipedia record lists a twenty thousand dollar prize pool, with the winning players credited at two thousand dollars each and Enigma's at fifteen hundred.
The title capped the strongest half-year in OR's history. Sportskeeda's mid-2022 earnings table had OR topping the BMPS Season 1 league stage and finishing second in the finals, banking more than fifty six thousand dollars, around forty six lakh rupees, in the first half of 2022. The 7Sea Invitational trophy sat alongside a podium at BMOC: The Grind in that run.
The winning core played under the Pole To Win International banner, with the organisation's backing frequently cited in 2022 team rankings. OR's 2022 also followed the iQOO All Stars Cup title from 2021, and the 7Sea win confirmed the lineup as a top-three Indian side that spring.
Enigma's third place added to a busy March for the organisation, coming between the VE Winter Masters title and a Skyesports Pro League runners-up finish. GodLike's sixth place was a quiet result in an otherwise loud year for the 2021 champions.
TSM also collected the Most Finishes team award of $500, one of the $1,000 in special category rewards listed next to AquaNox's $500 MVP prize.
