THW Esports' 154-point Battle For Swaraj triumph

THW Esports won the RA Esports Battle For Swaraj Season 1 on 29 May 2024, finishing the three-day Grand Finals with 154 points from nine matches, built on a single chicken dinner and 93 elimination points. Team Forever were runners-up on 145 and Entity Gaming third on 143. The event ran 13 to 29 May 2024, organised by RA Esports as their third BGMI event of the year, and sits on Liquipedia's B-Tier 2024 list with a ₹7,00,000 total (about $8,414).

The format filtered 32 teams through a league stage (two groups of 16, top 12 each advancing) into a 20 May semi-final and the Grand Finals from 27 to 29 May: 16 teams, nine matches across Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok, streamed on YouTube and Rooter. The finals MVP was Kiolmao (Kio) of THW Esports with 30 finishes; the semi-finals MVP was Fierce of Revenant Esports (Rs 20,000), and the top fraggers were Kio (30), Saumraj of Entity (28), and Saif of Team Uzumaki (27).

The semi-finals produced their own drama: iQOO SouL dominated with 118 points and three chicken dinners, then collapsed to eighth in the finals with 28 points. THW's path was the inverse: an underdog organisation outlasting seasoned Entity and Team Forever lineups through sheer consistency.

One honest discrepancy: the finals prize was announced as ₹3 lakh (₹1.5 lakh to the winners), but SportsTiger's winner report says THW actually took home ₹1.2 lakh, with Forever on ₹70,000 and Entity on ₹40,000. This page uses the reported figures and notes the variance.

RA Battle For Swaraj 2024 Grand Finals fourth place went to Team Hector on 137 points, with WSB Gaming fifth on 123 and Revenant Esports sixth on 121 behind the top three.

THW Esports beat seasoned opposition with consistency rather than chicken dinners: one WWCD, 93 elimination points, and a nine-point margin over Team Forever.
