Mafia stayed as Victores Sumus chased the 2026 titles

Mafia was the second retained core player in Victores Sumus's November 2025 announcement, kept alongside Venom as the organisation ended disband rumours and committed to the 2026 season. The announcement framed the pair as the stability around Owais's leadership and ScaryJOD's arrival.

Through the BMPS 2026 qualifiers, Mafia played in the side that finished third overall with 203 points and three chicken dinners from 24 matches. The campaign included the 77-point Round 3 that topped Group A and sealed direct qualification for the Jaipur Grand Finals.

Jaipur's Grand Finals ran June 19 to 21, 2026, and ended with Victores Sumus third on 133 points, behind GodLike and Divine Gaming. Mafia was also part of the squads that won the OneGame Championship Fall Season and the Weltify Pro Clash Season 2 in 2026.

After Owais departed for Elite Nova in July 2026, Mafia initially remained with Venom, ScaryJOD and Paritosh. His real name is Jayraj Som, as published in Liquipedia's player infobox, and his lineup role is not published anywhere verified.

Liquipedia's transfer log traces a longer road to Victores Sumus: Mafia finished second at BMPS 2024 with Numen Esports, joined 8Bit in December 2024 and won the 1M Slayy Zone with them in January 2025, then played for Team Forever before signing with Victores Sumus in August 2025. He left Victores Sumus on 31 July 2026 and joined Elite Nova Esports on 2 August 2026.
