TWOB Winter Invitational 2023: OMEGA's New Year title

The World of Battle: Winter Invitational 2023 was a Battlegrounds Mobile India invitational that ran from 22 December 2023 to 6 January 2024, with a prize pool of $25,243. TEAM OMEGA won the event, adding another winter title to a stretch of the calendar in which Omega were one of the most active top-tier lineups in India. The grand-finals points table and final standings were published by SportsAdda, which is the verified record this page follows.

The timing matters. This invitational closed out December 2023, the same month Omega won the APL Winter Showdown Season 2 on 27 December. Back-to-back winter titles in one month is the shape of a roster peaking at the right moment, and the TWOB win is the second half of that run. Omega later signed with WSB Gaming ahead of BMPS 2024, a move SportsTiger reported, which puts this invitational inside the last chapter of the independent TEAM OMEGA name.

What this page does not claim: the full day-by-day scores, the complete team list, and Omega's exact playing five for the event are not reproduced here, because no verified source used for this batch lists them cleanly. The result, the dates and the prize pool are verified; the rest stays marked missing rather than reconstructed.

The champions' playing five was Omega, Hector, Neyo, AkshaT and Goblin, the lineup recorded on the event's Liquipedia team card.

World of Battle Winter Invitational Grand Finals table finished close at the top, with TEAM OMEGA on 387 points across 30 matches and Chemin Esports second on 374. Aerobotz Esports took third on 330 points, ahead of Team Tamilas on 321 and Entity on 315, while Medal Esports placed sixth on 297.

OMEGA won the winter invitational across a 16-day span covering New Year. The grand-finals standings are the verified record; match-by-match scores are not published on this page.

The Winter Invitational opened with a Pre-Quarter round on 19 December 2023, where 16 teams (eight invited and eight from the open qualifiers) fought for four Quarter Finals spots. The Quarter Finals on 20 and 21 December fielded 24 teams across two matchdays, and the top eight moved into the Semi Finals.

The 32-team Semi Finals ran from 22 to 28 December 2023 (24 invited teams and eight from the Quarter Finals) in four groups of eight across six matchdays, sending the top 16 into the Grand Finals. The Grand Finals played out on 30 December 2023 and from 2 to 6 January 2024 with 16 teams and 30 matches over five matchdays, and Team Omega took the title.
