Velocity Gaming's BGMI story is a short, bright run through the summer of 2023. They finished second at the Revenant Invitational Showdown on 14 to 16 July 2023 for Rs 2 lakh, took third at the BGMI Masters Series Season 2, and were runners-up at the OS Invitational. Sportskeeda reported the side banked Rs 12.5 lakh in prizes across that stretch, the most successful spell in the organisation's BGMI history.

The run ended quickly. After a below-par BGIS 2023, where the Punk-led lineup dropped to the Losers Bracket and finished fifth in their group with only the top four advancing, Velocity released the entire roster. The departing five were Punk, IMMORTAL, Aimbot, Octavius and Jazzy, with coach Kratos also let go. The organisation had first entered BGMI in 2021 by acquiring the Team IND lineup, released that roster in early 2022, and returned in June 2023 when the game relaunched.

No verified competitive record exists for Velocity Gaming in BGMI after 2023, and no current roster is published here. Their documented results are the 2023 podiums plus a fifth place at the Villager Esports DOMIN8R Series and seventh at the Skyesports Champions Series.

Ownership records on Liquipedia list Manoj 'SENTINEL' Kasyap and Lalith 'CK' as the organisation's owners. Kasyap registered Velocity Gaming as an Indian esports organisation in 2019, two years after it was formed in 2017, and the side spent a spell as Team Mahi from December 2020 before the Velocity name returned in May 2021.
