Saumraj is the IGL of K9 Esports

Saumya Raj, tagged Saumraj, joined K9 Esports on 26 April 2026 and leads the lineup as its in-game leader, a role reflected both in his Best IGL award from the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2025 and in qualifier coverage describing a Saumraj-led K9 side. He arrived with SnowJOD, Stranger and Taurus06 as the organization rebuilt its BGMI roster. Per-match tracking during the BMSD 2026 qualifiers credited him with 71 finishes across 70 matches.

K9's published titles all predate this lineup. The organization won the BGMI Masters Series Season 4 (August-September 2025), the OneGame Pro Championship Season 3 (December 2025) and Blizzard Battlegrounds (January 2026), with runner-up finishes at the Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown 2025 and the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6. Those results belong to the previous roster and are recorded here as team history. The current five opened the BMSD 2026 qualifiers in Group C, where the new lineup is writing its own record.

Saumraj's verifiable personal markers are the IGL role, the BGIS 2025 Best IGL award and the qualifier finish count. His past teams and any winnings total are not laid out in a single published sequence in the sources used here. The page keeps the leadership tag, the award and the squad context, and leaves the rest unclaimed.

Liquipedia's transfer record fills in the earlier path: FutureStation Esports from July 2020, Skylightz Gaming across 2021 and 2022, then Entity from June 2023 to August 2024. Between the two Skylightz stints, Liquipedia also records a four-day loan spell with GodLike Esports in January 2022.
