SHOGUN: back-to-back titles with two organisations

SHOGUN won two notable titles within weeks of each other in the summer of 2023, and did it wearing two different jerseys. First came the Villager Esports Pro Invitational Season 2 with Gods Reign, where the team of NinjaJOD, AquaNox, Blaze, Robin and SHOGUN finished on 183 points for ten lakh rupees. Then came the Nodwin x Rooter Champions Cup with Gladiators Esports, where Destro, Justin, DeltaPG and SHOGUN won on 219 points with 136 eliminations.

Back-to-back trophies with different organisations in the same month is rare in any esport, and it says something about how quickly SHOGUN adapted. The Gladiators win was the more dominant of the two: four chicken dinners across 24 matches and a 25-point margin over Revenant Esports.

He was back in Gods Reign colours at the iQOO Pro Series 2024 alongside Destro, Justin and DeltaPG, which suggests the mid-2023 moves were short-term arrangements rather than permanent transfers. His real name is Pawan Kumar, and the seasons after 2024 took him through Carnival Gaming, Gods Omen and LHS to Jaguar Esports, which he joined on 30 April 2026.

Liquipedia's transfer record redraws SHOGUN's career around Gladiators Esports, not Gods Reign. He joined Gladiators on 9 June 2023 and won BGIS 2023, BGMS Season 2 and the Nodwin Champions Cup with them, then crossed to Gods Reign on 12 January 2024 and on to MOGO Esports that May. Carnival Gaming followed in August 2024, where he won Deepavali BattleMania 2024 and placed third at Titans Rising, and after spells with Gods Omen and LHS he joined Jaguar Esports on 30 April 2026.

SHOGUN finally has a published role. Gods Reign's January 2024 roster announcement described Pawan Kumar as the side's support/assaulter, alongside entry fraggers Justin and DeltaPG under in-game leader Destro.
