Ammar Khan, known as Destro, plays for Gladiators Esports

Ammar Khan, known as Destro, is listed as an assaulter on the Gladiators Esports BGMI roster that TalkEsport published for BMSD 2026, dated 2 October 2026. The Indian scene calls him the Trophy Magnet, a nickname earned across six years of title-winning work with several organisations. Although he built his name as an in-game leader, the October 2026 listing places Neyo in the IGL seat and Destro among the assaulters.

The career record is one of the longest in the game. Destro started in 2019, won the PMCO India Fall 2020 with Team XSpark, then led Skylightz Gaming to the inaugural BGIS title in 2021. His 2023 with Gladiators Esports was the peak stretch: back-to-back official titles at BGMS Season 2 and BGIS 2023, plus a BMPS runner-up finish. After Gladiators shut down in December 2023 he moved through Gods Reign and MOGO Esports in a difficult 2024, rejoined Gods Reign in November 2024 alongside NinjaJOD, and lifted the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 title in 2025.

March 2026 brought a surprise when he announced a step back from competitive play in a video titled Signing Off from Competitive Play. Reporting at the time made clear it was an indefinite break rather than a final retirement, with him staying around Gods Reign as a substitute and mentor. He was back in a playing roster by July 2026, when transfer data records his move to Gladiators Esports. There he reunites with Justin and DeltaPG, the core of his 2023 title runs, under coach Robin. Squad results below are the teams' results, not his personal kill totals.

Before Gladiators, Destro moved through TeamXSpark (July 2020 to January 2021), Lightzout esports (April to May 2021) and OREsports (June to December 2021), then held longer stints at Skylightz Gaming (December 2021 to February 2022) and Chemin Esports (February 2022 to June 2023). Liquipedia's transfer history records each of those dates, and they replace the TBA entries this page carried before.
